The purpose of GLM’s Ladies Ministry is to promote fellowship among the women of GLM while drawing closer to Christ, and creating a group of women that grow, and learn together. We want to encourage women in their relationship with Jesus, and to have experiences that promote relationships with each other through laughter, and conversation! We offer events to encourage you to connect through fellowship such as bible studies, retreats, and a variety of other events throughout the year! 

The Purpose of the Brave Mom’s Ministry is to be a safe place where Moms can go for encouragement, prayer, conversation, and to be a part of a tribe of Moms who know what they’re going through. We want to build a brave village of moms that are raising brave kids to navigate this life in the light of God’s word. The Brave Moms gather regularly for coffee/play dates, Mom’s Day/Night outs, Family outings, bible studies, and more. The purpose of Overflow Student Ministries is to encourage youth in developing, and furthering their relationship with Christ, providing them with opportunities for growth, challenging them to respond to God’s call to serve in their communities, and loving and supporting our youth right where they are. We know that our youth are the future leaders of our church, and we want to ensure they are equipped to live in the truth of God’s promises, and that they will be a light in the darkness to the people around them! The purpose of our Kidz on Fire ministry is to nurture the faith of the next generation through prayer, foundational bible stories, and simple biblical truths! We aim to partner with, and equip parents to raise a generation of Children who grow in Christ, spiritual maturity, and who discover, develop, and use their gifts for the glory of God, as they pursue a God-centered vision of life. Our Children engage in worship, study, prayer, and outreach within our community.

Doneese Owens

The purpose of our Wee Kids Toddler Ministry is to create a safe, and educational environment where our Toddlers can grow closer to Christ, and each other through age appropriate lessons, music, games, crafts, and play. The Wee Kids also participate in a variety of outreach opportunities for our church, and our surrounding communities.

The purpose of our Wee Kids Nursery Ministry is to provide a safe, secure, nurturing, and clean environment to shape and care for God’s children! Our children are learning about God, and growing in faith. Our loving nursery workers play, laugh, and sing with our children, and most importantly, they love Jesus!

The purpose of our music ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship, and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gifts, and be an integral part of the worship service.

The purpose of the Multimedia Ministry is to carry the Gospel of Jesus to our visually driven, and ever changing world through the use of technology, and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use digital, and electronic media as a worship and outreach tool.

The purpose of the prayer ministry is to be the backbone of each and every ministry in our church, by keeping in constant communication with God. Our prayer warriors meet regularly to pray for any requests, and needs not only within our church, and families, but within our community as well. 

Kay Long

The purpose of our Golden Anchor Ministry is to help identify the particular calling of a senior adult in the life of the church, equipping, and supporting them for the kingdom of God. Our Golden Anchors have regular get togethers, and outings to support, and encourage each other!

The purpose of our Usher Ministry is to help provide the church with a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for guests attending services, as well as taking up the offering at our services! 

The purpose of our Security Ministry is to provide our church with the safest environment for all who attend our services, and special events.

The purpose of the Greeters Ministry is to serve on the frontline of our church, and provide a positive, and welcoming first impression to our guests, as well as making our regular attendees know we are glad to have them on a regular basis each week. Our greeters make our church feel warm, and welcoming!
